Tim and Tam at the Great Wall. There are many different sections of the Great Wall. Monday, November 1, 2010. The wall is up very high and runs along the top of ridges. You can climb up to it or you can take a cable car. We decided to climb up. The steps were so high! And we just kept going.
Tim and Tam at the World Expo. Tuesday, November 2, 2010. We went to the World expo with our tour guide. His English name was John and he was very nice. He got our tickets for us and took us there on the train. Sunday, October 31, 2010. We passed lots and lots of pavilions from countries all around the world. We really liked the pavilion for Algeria. The mural on their wall looked really good. The Angola pavilion looked very interesting too. We found this kangaroo near the entrance.
We loved our time here and the only problem we had was the air pollution. On some days it was so bad that it made our noses, throats and mouths feel yukky. Chinese people are very worried about the pollution and its a really hard problem to solve. Monday, November 1, 2010. On our first morning we had a good look around our hotel. We liked this Chinese bonsai tree in the foyer. It was just the right size for us.
Sunday, October 31, 2010. When we woke up in Nanjing it was mid-autumn day. We had our moon cakes for breakfast. Then we went out to visit some schools in Nanjing.
